Rachel Vowles BA Hons (Drama and Theatre Arts, University of London)

 

The positive change that Rachel’s team-building expertise and experience generates, within the business/corporate sector, is what has inspires her to work in this field. Her motivational skills, self-designed creative interactions and the directing of dynamic inspiring workshops has brought about and generated lasting positive change. Rachel is a highly skilled group-work facilitator, director and project leader. She has extensive knowledge in this field, working for varied clients in both private and public sectors.

Extensive Freelance work as actor/facilitator/workshop leader for varied clients in both private and public sectors. Clients include Duchy College - Agricultural Managers, Exeter & North Devon Addiction Service, RNIB, RNID, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Value Theatre Company, Dramatic Improvement, plus numerous schools and colleges across the educational spectrum.

Her strength includes strategic planning and delivery of major community initiatives and projects. She has worked in partnership with local and national organisations, agencies and educational establishments. She is a highly skilled motivator and team-builder as well as an Actor/Facilitator in corporate training sessions (planning and delivery) for over 15 years. She is an Associate for ActorFactor (theatre skills in personal and professional training) Clients include: Peninsula Medical School (Exeter, Devon), College of St Mark and St John (Plymouth, Devon) & the Regional Development Agency).

Rachel was lecturer in Performing Arts at Exeter College of Further Education for over 7 years and Associate Director, (Participation and Education) at the Exeter Northcott Theatre, Exeter University campus for over 10 years. Apart from being a mother of 2 children she is also a writer and actor of a murder mystery entertainment company: Playing Dead (clients from the private and public sector).
